Pregnancy

The best time to build your team of providers

The process of becoming a parent can be really magical. It can be amazing, stressful, scary, you name it. But sometimes, it can feel like more than you can handle. It can feel overwhelming, it can cause us to have thoughts and feelings we can't seem to "shut -off", and can leave our friends and family confused about how to help.

1 out of every 5 women experience feelings of sadness, anxiety, and sometimes even thoughts they can't stop thinking about as early as the first trimester.

We specialize in helping moms manage these feelings and thoughts as they arise during pregnancy and continue helping even after your baby is born.

After Baby

There is nothing like holding your new baby in your arms. But not all parents feel an instant connection to their babies. Between 1 in 3 and moms (and 1 in 10 dads) experiences postpartum depression after the birth of their first child and these numbers  increase with every child after.

Out of those women, only 15 percent get help the help they need (and that number is even smaller for dads). At Her Hope Behavioral Health, we help moms and dads find their way to enjoying their babies and their new journey of motherhood with the help of individual and couples therapy.

Being a new parent can be hard and it's important to know you don't have to do this alone!

Pregnancy Loss and Stillbirth

You're not alone.

So many of us desire to be mothers/parents to a little one created with their own bodies. We hope for the experience of watching ourselves grow as our bodies support a life. We desire the experience of bonding with our partner and little-one-to-be.

But for some of us, there are challenges to meeting our babies. Whether you have experienced pregnancy loss, still birth, or the loss of an infant, we are here to support you through it all. Too many families suffer through this grief alone, in silence. You are not alone.

LOSS AND STILBIRTH
IVF & Fertility

Infertility affects 1in 5 people in the United States. If you've been on the fertility journey for any length of time, you know how difficult and lonely the process can feel. Between the doctors visits, the medications, and testing the stress can really start to build. Oh, and don't forget, you're supposed to manage your stress during this process. How do you do that?!

Working with a therapist trained in mental wellness during the fertility journey is a good way to start managing that stress. You'll learn skills to actively manage the stress of your journey; learn how to respond to the intrusive questions from family members and well meaning friends; learn how to advocate for yourself during appointments with your specialist; and learn how to maintain a healthy relationship with your partner while you navigate becoming pregnant.
