From Surviving to Thriving This Holiday Season
The holiday season is upon us!
There are a lot of reasons to be excited for this time of year. For some of us, though, there's also a lot to be anxious about. If you're anything like I was as a newer mom (or a newer married or partnered person), preparing for the holidays came with a mix of anxious anticipation to experience the holiday season in each new stage of life AND a lot more anxiety about how to just get through the holidays with family and all of their well meaning advice/opinions about my life and my family. I would love to take my experiences and clinical know how and share with you now to navigate all of this.
Here's a holiday GIFT for you! If you have a commercial health insurance plan this group is covered for the cost of your co-pay and/or co-insurance. It's that easy! Here are the plans we accept: CIGNA, UNITED HEALTH CARE, AETNA, OSCAR, OPTUM, UMR, AvMED, HAVARD-PILGRIM, OXFORD.
I hope you'll join me for this group offering over the next two weeks!
See you soon!

Two weeks only
...
Over the course of the next few weeks I would love to hold two weeks of group support from me where you'll learn how to:
-
Have the holiday YOU envision having with your family.
-
Put your holiday dreams and wishes FIRST.
-
Set some guidelines for those you are coming to your home to celebrate with you or setting guidelines with people for your time in their home (we all get a say as to who holds our babies EVEN when we are at someone else's home. It's always ok to say no. No one gets to ask us when we're planning on starting our family or why we aren't married or pregnant yet. Saying no to those things feels easier said than done, right?)
-
Say no to a family member/loved one's request without feeling guilty.
-
Come up with a plan to "make an exit" if your family gathering doesn't feel safe for you or your family.
-
THRIVE through the holiday!
